Greetings all,

Just a short message to let you know that over the next week I will be recoding and revamping most, if not all, of the courses that we currently offer. The courses themselves will not be affected during the changeover until I am ready to upload all the new files. Imperial Exchange

Well I was planning on going to bed but I am staying up to get the new site for the IDE up and running ASAP. Until I state the site is ready I am going have to ask everyone to stay off the site as many links may or may not work. I am also going to ask everyone to put a hold on viewing their accounts or purchasing items. This is only temporary and my hopes is that the new site will be up and running within 72 hours. Till then everyone.

Imperial Exchange

Starting now a new rule is being implemented regarding how the IDE and all fictional activity will be integrated. In the past we have passively used this policy, but with the recent appointment of RA Kyrios as IED I have promised him that we will begin using this policy on a consisten basis, and that it will be carried out at all times.

The policy states that you may only use items that are either issued to you when you first join the ID, or those that are gifted to you by someone else through the IDE, or those you personally purchase through the IDE. If you are caught in an RO or other fiction storyline using something that you do not actually own it will be deleted from the fiction writing.

The purpose of this policy is to interject some realism into your daily role-playing, and like any RP game, you can't use weapons or items that you do not already have in your possession. RA Kyrios has pledged that he will be monitoring the ROs and other fiction postings to ensure 100% compliance. So if you post that you are using something that you do not have access to, don't be surprised if it suddenly disappears from your post. :P

High Command

I am most pleased to announce that today we have a new Strategic Development Director who will be working behind-the-scenes to develop new graphics, fiction, storylines, histories, and most of all will directly oversee the operations of the Orzon Battle Center where our primary Role-playing and Multi-player activities will take place!

Everyone congratulate Rear Admiral Jaden Cardie, formerly CDR Cardie and Ship Captain of the CSD Outcast's Fury in the 1st Expeditionary Fleet. Cardie approached me this past week with an interest in the position and then outlined the many ways his real life experience and skills could be of genuine use in helping develop this position to a new level. After many discussions, chief among those with RA Jade since he would be losing a good commander, the decision was made to make the appointment.

RA Cardie will be settling into his position over the next day or so, and then as soon as he's ready will begin handling any new graphics orders through the Imperial Directorate Exchange. I'm sure some of you have some signature banners that need updating or created.

In addition to his standard duties, RA Cardie will begin working on helping develop our continuing storyline, club history, and will be working closely with the CIU and IED to develop whatever they need to improve our courses and shopping needs. Cardie, we wish you lots of luck with your new position and many congratulations on your admiralty promotion!

Stormtrooper Corps

Effective immediately, the Razorbacks Squad Leader position is open for applications

Requirements for the position are as follows:

Infantry Squad Leader

* Achieved the rank of Corporal.
* Completed the Communications 1 {CM1}, Leadership Philosophy {LP} and Advanced Leadership 1 {AL1} courses
* Completed any specialized courses for the squad you desire to command.
* Served actively in the Stormtrooper Corps for at least two (2) months

Please note that if you have not met these requirements, you can still apply and be considered for the position. But if you're selected you will need to complete those requirements ASAP.

In your application include the following:


Your ID line and pin.
Any relevant experience.
Plans for the unit. (Including a 30/60/90 day plan)
Why you feel you are the best candidate for the position.
References.

Imperial Directorate

I'll make things short and sweet.

Lately I've been bogged down with work and computer issues and now my computer has simply died. I'm currently using a friends computer to post this, so I apologize for the lack of communications to superiors and subordinates. I will try to resolve this problem as soon as possible, so don't miss me too much. Any inquiries can be sent to jacobe.silthrin@esayre.com as that address is forwarded to my phone. High Command

After some discussion it has been decided that RA Jared Mohatil will move from the Imperial Exchange Director position and will assume the duties of the Commandant of the Imperial University. RA Mohatil has some plans to help upgrade and expand the IU, and plans to do much of it within his first 30 days in the position.

RA Mohatil's replacement as IED will be the newly promoted RA Kyrios, who leaves the Navy and becomes the newest addition to the High Command. As the Imperial Exchange Director he will give the IDE a major makeover, plans to upgrade the items currently available and making them more inline with our current timeline, will enforce our rule on only using items purchased from the IDE in role-playing, and plans to greatly increase the visibility of the Imperial Directorate Exchange.

Look for some major changes to come to both of these areas, and be sure to congratulate these two fine officers on their appointments!

Imperial University, High Command

Due to real life issues Firemane Skyeyes has returned to the Stormtrooper Corps where he will continue pursuing his career plans. At this time the CIU position is open, but is not open for applications. I have been in consultation with someone who has expressed an interest in the position, and we may have word in the next day or so about a new appointment.

Imperial Directorate

I've moved the link to the IU up under the "General" nav links to make it easier for everyone to link over to the IU. On some monitors, or depending on the screen resolution one is using, the link to the Imperial University is generally off the screen, which means having to constantly scroll down to reach it. Hopefully this will encourage more people to visit the IU more often to continue your training.
